Production Update

The engine manufacturer delivered 420 engines in the fourth quarter of 2025, meeting its target and representing a 35% increase over the same period last year. Full-year deliveries reached 1,580 units.

“Our supply chain has stabilized and our factories are performing at expected levels,” said a company spokesperson.

Inspection Impact

The company also noted that the accelerated inspection program for in-service engines is proceeding ahead of schedule. Approximately 1,200 engines requiring urgent inspection have been cleared, with the remainder expected to complete by mid-2026.

Airlines operating A320neo and A220 aircraft have reported improved dispatch reliability as the inspection backlog clears.

Customer Outlook

Airbus expressed optimism about the improved engine availability, which has been a constraint on aircraft deliveries. The airframer expects to deliver approximately 800 A320neo family aircraft in 2026, up from 680 in 2025.

Industry analysts noted that sustained production levels will be critical to meeting both new aircraft demand and the ongoing inspection requirements.
